We have just spent 4 nights in this idyllic setting. The Red Shed is first class accommodation, a great place to getaway, it sleeps 2 adults and everything is catered for. Lovely kitchen /diner with everything you need,
Cosy lounge with Log Burner. The bed is comfortable alongside a good sized shower room. The garden outside which is for the accommodation use only has various seating areas around the garden to soak up the sun and take in the wildlife and a great variety of flowers. Rebecca and James made us very welcome, but were not intrusive, but on hand if needed. The location is good not far from Bury St Edmunds and National Trust properties nearby to visit. We fully recommend this accommodation.
Rebecca's place is just lovely. I really enjoyed my three nights there, it was so cosy, comfortable and clean. I read the magazines and ate the brownies provided while sitting in front of the wood burner in the sweet little living room. Fairy lights outside on the tree. It was very atmospheric. Also the bed is very comfortable with really good quality linen. The whole place has been lovingly designed and maintained with lots of attention to detail. It's also light as it has many lovely little wooden windows. I'd really recommend it, it's a perfectly designed, small, pretty little cottage.
Lovely clean shed, very well equipped and nice touches like honey and delicious homemade biscuits. Close proximity to both Bury St Edmunds and some beautiful Suffolk countryside. Really enjoyed the long weekend, thank you Rebecca!
We were very fortunate to stumble across the Red Shed, we just needed a Suffolk base to attend a wedding and visit friends during our stay. Rebecca was very friendly, welcoming and kind doing all she could to ensure we had a great experience. The Red Shed is a tranquil & peaceful haven, a very cosy and warm base to return to, it has everything you need and more, and all good quality including a comfy bed & linens, walk in shower and we especially loved the special touches like fresh flowers.
This is definitely a keeper for the future and one to share too!
We have just had a lovely weekend at The Red Shed.
Rebecca welcomed us on our arrival and was a lovely host.
The accommodation was wonderful!
Spotlessly clean, great modern appliances with homely touches.
We have been to many B&B’s and this the best we’ve stayed in!
We would love to stay again and explore more of mid Suffolk.

Just had two very comfortable nights staying at the Red Shed. Rebecca the owner is lovely and made us feel very welcome. The accommodation is wonderful, very well equipped for all your needs, spotlessly clean with so much thought & creativity gone into every room. It feels very cosy with lots of personal touches to make it feel very homely. It looks out over a lovely, peaceful garden which lends itself to a drink in the afternoon sun.
We would thoroughly recommend a stay at the Red Shed.
The Red Shed is a truly wonderful gem, we felt privileged to have found it. From the moment we arrived we felt extremely welcome and Rebecca and James were perfect hosts, providing everything we required (including the use of the adjacent shed as a wedding floristry workshop!), yet allowing us unlimited privacy as well. The garden which surrounds the Red Shed is delightful and offers several options for sitting outside to enjoy a drink or a meal. The interior of the Red Shed is unique, relaxing and beautifully planned. Cleanliness and attention to detail are superb, Rebecca has created a very calming and inspiring environment. The Red Shed Honey was scrumptious. We plan to return as soon as possible and make the Red Shed a base for a few days of cycling around the Suffolk lanes.
